"SNL" RETURNS OCTOBER 6 WITH HOST DANIEL CRAIG AND MUSICAL GUEST MUSE October 6- Daniel Craig/ Muse; October 13 - Christina Applegate/ Passion Pit; October 20 - Bruno Mars/ Bruno Mars New York, NY - October 1, 2012 - SNL returns with three back to back shows, starting October 6 with host Daniel Craig and musical guest Muse. Christina Applegate returns as host on October 13. Applegate currently stars in NBC's comedy "Up All Night" alongside Maya Rudolph and Will Arnett. Passion Pit will make their musical guest debut. The critically acclaimed group released their sophomore album, "Gossamer," to rave reviews with the album debuting at number four and their singles topping the Billboard Alternative charts. On October 20, multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer Bruno Mars will pull double duty as host and musical guest. The Grammy Award-winning singer will release his second album, "Unorthodox Jukebox," on December 11 and the first single "Locked Out Of Heaven" on October 1. "Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
