Wilson: NBC Passing on "The Office" Spin-Off "The Farm"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC won't be moving forward with its proposed Rainn Wilson-led spin-off of "The Office."
"NBC has passed on moving forward with The Farm TV show," the actor posted to his Twitter account this afternoon. "Had a blast making the pilot - onwards & upwards!"
Majandra Delfino, Matt Jones, Mike Schur, Thomas Middleditch and Tom Bower are also featured in the pilot, which followed Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) adventures at the Schrute family beet farm/bed and breakfast.
Said installment, written by Wilson and Paul Lieberstein, will still presumably air as part of "The Office's" current ninth - and final - season.
