All-New Comedy Special "Kathy Griffin: Kennedie Center On-Hers" Premieres Thursday, January 3rd at 10:00 PM

NEW YORK - December 5, 2012 - Bravo Media will premiere an all-new season of "Kathy," the weekly prime-time talk show hosted by two-time Emmy award winner Kathy Griffin on Thursday, January 10th at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Every Thursday, Kathy will be joined by a throng of celebrities to discuss everything pop culture from the latest celebrity scandals to Kathy's new favorite television obsession to her most recent celebrity run in. Previous guest, Jane Fonda, called her "basically insane," Chelsea Handler quipped, "You're going to have to bleep all of this," and Jimmy Kimmel commented, "It's very hot in hell, Kathy." In addition to celebrities, Kathy will again be joined by her fun-loving mother, Maggie, and always-adorable assistant, Tiffany, as well as a panel of friends, co-workers and normal people dishing on the week's headlines. "We're going to keep the tradition of having fun celebrity guests, like when we had everyone from Sharon Osbourne to Anderson Cooper," said Kathy Griffin. "We'll also have civilians on again, like my dog walker Ryan. That is unless he has been arrested for killing and eating hitchhikers."

After a recent nomination and loss in the Outstanding Variety Special category, Kathy has appropriately named her next stand-up special, ""Kathy Griffin: Kennedie Center On-Hers" premiering on Thursday, January 3rd at 10:00 PM ET/PT. In this new comedy special, Award-winning Kathy Griffin will discuss her very uniquely inappropriate encounters with everyone from Miley Cyrus to the great Celine Dion while bringing you up to date on "The Real Couples Therapy Beyond Scared Housewives."

Griffin has had an impressive 15 original comedy specials on since 2005 and won two Emmy's for the network's "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List." Her stand up specials "Kathy Griffin: Tired Hooker (December 2011), "Kathy Griffin: Straight to Hell" (November 2008) and "Kathy Griffin: She'll Cut a Bitch" (April 2009) were nominated for an Emmy in the category Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special. Four of her comedy albums have been nominated for Grammy's and she received rave reviews on Broadway for her one woman show "Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony." She is the recipient of the 'GLAAD Vanguard Award,' received the Trevor Project's 'Lifetime Achievement Award' and 'Ally for Equality Award' from the Human Rights Campaign.

"Kathy" is produced by Donut Run and Embassy Row for Bravo with Kathy Griffin and Michael Davies serving as executive producers on the series.
