NEW YORK - December 18, 2012 - Oxygen Media is asking fans to channel their inner supermodel with "The Face Challenge," launching today, on the shows' YouTube channel. This user generated contest and on-the-ground activation is taking "The Face" to the streets and online to get consumers excited and engaged in the network's highly anticipated new modeling competition series. Naomi Campbell executive produced the series and also appears as a supermodel coach; in her role as executive producer, the iconic model brought in key fashion designers, photographers, publications, products and contest partners, and created unique, real-life opportunities for the contestants. Alongside Naomi as supermodel coaches are Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha; Nigel Barker serves as the host of the show. Known for unique aspects of their modeling careers', each supermodel coach created a "call to action" video showcasing their signature moves - Naomi's "Walk," Karolina's "Look" and Coco's "Pose." Fans can submit videos emulating the supermodels for a chance to win the ultimate VIP treatment and to see their name announced as the winner during the series premiere on Tuesday, February 12, at 9pm ET/PT. Valid submissions to the contest may be featured on a Times Square billboard throughout the day of the premiere.

Fans will be able to submit videos, learn tips from the supermodel coaches, access exclusive content on "The Face," and watch other videos submissions - including celebrity friends of the cast - by visiting "The Face Challenge" contest page on Oxygen's official YouTube channel for "The Face" (www.youtube.com/thefaceonoxygen). In addition, Oxygen will feature a pop-up experience in various locations across the U.S. to give consumers the opportunity to participate in "The Face Challenge" on the ground. Fans will get enhanced treatment with a digital video shoot of their submission plus a social photo activation. The video shoot will capture the fan's modeling skill that will be submitted for the YouTube contest page and the photo activation will capture their best looks resulting in a shareable animated .GIF along with four branded photos to take with them.

The winner of the contest and two guests will get the ultimate supermodel treatment with a trip to New York City where they will receive professional hair, make-up and wardrobes styling for a photo shoot with the show's host and famed photographer Nigel Barker. In addition, they will be sent home with a high quality portfolio of their photo shoot experience. Fans should tune-in to Oxygen on Tuesday, February 12 at 9pm ET/PT, when the winner of the contest will be announced during the premiere episode of "The Face."

Hosted by world renowned photographer and personality Nigel Barker, "The Face" features supermodel coaches Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha as they battle to find the next supermodel and the newest face of ULTA Beauty. The series will give viewers access inside the competitive and cutthroat world of fashion as three teams of aspiring models, each led by one of the supermodel coaches, are guided through real-life challenges depicting the highly sought-after career of a successful supermodel, including photo shoots, runway shows and commercials.
