Coverage Begins with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET

Sunday Night Football Extra to Live Stream Cowboys-Redskins on NBCSports.com

NEW YORK - December 26, 2012 - The Dallas Cowboys travel to FedExField in Landover, Md., to take on the Washington Redskins on Sunday Night Football in a game that will determine the NFC East champion. Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

The victor of the Dallas-Washington matchup will win the division title and move into the playoffs. The Cowboys can only advance to the postseason as the NFC East champion. The Redskins can advance as either a division winner or as a Wild Card team, if both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings lose in their respective Sunday afternoon games.

Calling Cowboys-Redskins is six-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 27th season as the voice of the NFL's premier primetime package; 13-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his three seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, who, last year in her first season with SNF, won the inaugural Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Reporter.

Football Night in America is hosted by 24-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from FedExField in Landover, Md. Costas will be joined on site by Michaels, Collinsworth and Hines Ward, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC's Studio 8G at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Patrick is joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, Peter King of Sports Illustrated, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network and NBCSports.com. Carolyn Manno will report on Eagles-Giants, from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and Alex Flanagan will report on Packers-Vikings, from Mall of America Field at the H.H.H. Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn.

POSTSEASON COVERAGE

NBC will broadcast three NFL postseason games -- the Wild Card Saturday doubleheader and the 2013 Pro Bowl. Those games will also be streamed live at NBCSports.com and NFL.com.

Television

NBC will air two Wild Card games on Saturday, January 5, a late afternoon game at 4:30 p.m. ET, and a primetime game at 8 p.m. ET. Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 4 p.m. ET.

Calling the primetime game will be NBC's Sunday Night Football team of Al Michaels (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (analyst), and Michele Tafoya (sideline reporter). Calling the afternoon game will be Dan Hicks (play-by-play), Mike Mayock (analyst) and Alex Flanagan (sideline reporter). Hicks, renowned for his golf and Olympic work, called NBC's Colts-Steelers preseason game earlier this year, as well as the 2012 Pro Bowl in January. He has also worked play-by-play for various Notre Dame Football games in recent years. Mayock and Flanagan, a Football Night reporter, both work on NBC's Notre Dame Football broadcasts.

The Pro Bowl returns to NBC in primetime at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 27. Michaels, Collinsworth and Tafoya will call the 2013 iteration of the game, and will be joined by a second sideline reporter, former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie. This is the second of three consecutive years that the game will air on NBC.

Streaming

NBC Postseason Extra will kick off on Saturday, January 5 with NBC's Wild Card Saturday doubleheader. Coverage will continue on Sunday, January 27 for the 2013 Pro Bowl live from Hawaii. NFL.com and NBCSports.com will stream all three games live.

Complementing the streams will be a number of extra features to enrich the viewing experience including additional camera angles, in-game highlights, live statistics and other interactive elements.
