It's men versus women, as the two winning concepts from Bite of Seattle have just 48 hours to build their restaurants from the ground up, including building their outdoor kitchens, décor, hiring/training wait staff, conceptualizing a full menu, and more. World renowned restaurateur Danny Meyer joins judges Emeril Lagasse and Gail Simmons, head judge Tom Colicchio and host Padma Lakshmi.

"Top Chef" returns to its hour-long format with a new episode on Wednesday, January 23 at 10pm ET/PT. In this week's Quickfire, the chef'testants are tasked with impressing the master of sushi, Katsuya. Then it's fried chicken for the Elimination Challenge as the chef'testants head to Tom's Seattle digs to cook for a table full of culinary superstars. It's an epic dinner service filled with big laughs and great stories. David Chang, Michelle Bernstein, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo join judges Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, head judge Tom Colicchio and host Padma Lakshmi for a night to remember.

Then, the five remaining chef'testants bid farewell to Seattle and set sail on a cruise to Alaska in the season's second supersized episode, airing Wednesday, January 30 at 10pm ET/PT. While aboard, they learn firsthand all of the intricacies of how to operate a cruise ship kitchen, with latches and locks on all doors and ovens, no open flame, a moving vessel, and more. The pressure is on to make the final four, and one chef'testant disembarks in a heartbreaking elimination. Guest judge Curtis Stone joins Hugh Acheson, head judge Tom Colicchio and host Padma Lakshmi.
