BROTHERS JOHN AND DON MCLEMORE CONQUER "BIG FOOD" WITH THEIR ALL-NEW SPECIAL ON CMT

Massive Man-Made Strawberry Shortcake Rolls Into Fort Benning When "Big Food" Premieres Wednesday, January 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT

NASHVILLE - January 10, 2013 - Brothers John and Don McLemore will attempt to create a tank-sized strawberry shortcake big enough to feed a graduating military class and their families in the all-new special BIG FOOD premiering Wednesday, January 16 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. As self-made engineers and cooks, the brothers are known for combining their talents as they travel across America in search of the biggest crowds and biggest challenges to create "Big Food."

"Food is something that has always been a part of our lives," explained John McLemore. "My dad always told us if you are going to do something, do it right and do it in a big way!"

In the one-hour special, John and Don head to Fort Benning, Ga., home of the United States Army Armor School, to embark on their most outrageous food challenge to date - a strawberry shortcake the size of a tank to honor the armory school graduates. The brothers, who first started engineering cooking products 40 years ago as part of their family business, Masterbuilt, will have three days to assemble the necessary ovens and tools to build a 15-foot-high and 32-foot- long cake. Faced with difficult delivery logistics and deadlines, John and Don must enlist help from the local community to ensure the cake is a success.
