NEW ABC.COM REALITY WEB SERIES "MEET THE POWELL PACK" FOLLOWS FITNESS GURU CHRIS POWELL AND HIS FAMILY AS THEY ENDEAVOR TO CHANGE LIVES

In anticipation of fitness and transformational specialist Chris Powell's new book, Choose More, Lose More for Life, and the upcoming season of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition," ABC.com is debuting a new six-part reality web series, "Meet the Powell Pack," at www.ABC.com/PowellPack. The first webisode is live now, with new installments premiering every Monday for the next five weeks.

Chris Powell is well known for completely embedding himself into the lives of the people he helps, in many ways becoming their anchor and support system. But what few may realize is that he has his own powerhouse support system - his wife, Heidi, sons Matix and Cash and daughter Marley. "Meet the Powell Pack" follows Chris and his family as they juggle their increasingly busy lifestyles.

In particular we get to know Heidi, who works side by side with Chris to carry out their vision of transforming people's lives from the inside out. Since Season 1 of "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition," Heidi has been the matriarch and a behind-the-scenes force for the often-struggling participants, serving as their daily fitness coach, voice of reason and biggest cheerleader. In Season 3, which premieres Tuesday, May 28, from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT on ABC, Heidi will have a role in front of the camera, and it will be revealed just how vital she has been to these staggering stories of success.

The series covers the making of Chris' inspiring new book, Choose More, Lose More for Life," which includes exercises, nutrition tips and more success stories to motivate readers to achieve a healthier lifestyle. The book became available on May 7.

From the producers of ABC's celebrity diving series, "Splash," "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" is executive-produced by JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Matt Assmus and Brant Pinvidic. The series is produced by Eyeworks USA.
