WAYWARD PINES (FOX/FX Productions; W: Chad Hodge; D: M. Night Shyamalan) - Melissa Leo ("Treme") has joined the cast of the "Twin Peaks"-esque drama, about a Secret Service Agent (Matt Dillon) who drives to the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, ID, to find two missing federal agents. She'll play Pam, "the intense, unpredictable nurse" who first takes care of Ethan after an accident on the outskirts of town and "may be more interested in harming than healing." (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Mariska Hargitay has closed a deal to return for the 15th season of "Law & Order: SVU" (@Mariska); Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna reportedly have been approached about rejoining "Community" for what's expected to be its final season, succeeding season four showrunners David Guarascio and Moses Port (Deadline.com); Warren Kole will recur on "White Collar" as "Neal's overly ambitious new FBI handler who takes over for the now-jailed Peter" while Richard Thomas will guest as "the patriarch of a wealthy family" (HuffPo.com); and Yvette Nicole Brown and Cedric Yarbrough will reprise their roles as the Ballentines' annoying former neighbors on "The Soul Man" (THR.com).
