By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

ASSISTANCE (NBC/Universal; W: Leslye Headland ; D: TBA) - Universal Television has extended the options on several cast members of the single-camera comedy pilot - about a magnetic hyperactive workaholic (Krysten Ritter) who tries to juggle the demands of her long-time boyfriend (Peter Cambor), her smug work-husband (Zach Cregger) and her powerful boss (Alfred Molina) - as well as asked for three more scripts. Vinette Robinson also stars in the half-hour, from Gary Sanchez Productions. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED ROSEANNE BARR PROJECT (NBC/Universal; W: Roseanne Barr & Linda Wallem; D: TBA) - A proposed multi-camera family comedy starring Roseanne Barr is reportedly near a straight-to-series 10-episode order with a 90-episode back order if a certain ratings mark is hit. Linda Wallem ("Nurse Jackie") is co-writing the half-hour, which stems from a development deal the comedian and her manager Steven Greener signed back in January. Should it move forward, the project would mark the studio's first stab at the 10/90 template. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - ABC's new drama "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" will have no additional episodes ordered beyond its initial run, reportedly more than 13 but less than 22 episodes (EW.com); Sony Pictures Television has ended its efforts to find a new home for "Happy Endings" as its cast options expire on Monday (Deadline.com); Jessica Collins has booked a four-episode arc on "Revolution" as "a beautiful young woman of deep faith, whose winning humor and blazing intelligence capture the heart of one of [the] leading characters" (Deadline.com); Evan Katz is the latest "24" alum bound for the "Live Another Day" limited series as part of a new two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television (Deadline.com); Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley and Harry Shum, Jr. will no longer be billed as series regulars on "Glee" (TVLine.com);

Jace Alexander ("The Blacklist"), John Gray ("Reckless"), Ken Olin ("Sleepy Hollow"), Dan Lerner ("Lucky 7"), Timothy Busfield ("Mind Games"), Sam Hill ("Almost Human"), Jonas Pate ("Believe"), Deran Sarafian ("Star-Crossed") and Nelson McCormick ("Gang Related") have all been tapped as producing directors on the aforementioned series (Deadline.com); ABC has decided not renew Brian Malarkey's contract for season two of "The Taste" (Deadline.com); Pedro Pascal has been cast as Prince Oberyn Martell, better known as The Red Viper, on "Game of Thrones" (EW.com); Fred Armisen has confirmed his exit from "Saturday Night Live" (Splitsider.com); Juliet Rylance and Melissa George are both bound for the new season of "The Good Wife" (TVLine.com); and Rebecca Mader will guest on the final season of "Warehouse 13" in a top secret role (TVLine.com).
