USA Network Teams Up with Oscar Mayer and the Wienermobile Vehicles to Celebrate the World Premiere of "Psych: The Musical"

USA NETWORK TEAMS UP WITH OSCAR MAYER AND THE WIENERMOBILE VEHICLES TO CELEBRATE THE WORLD PREMIERE OF "PSYCH: THE MUSICAL"

Iconic Vehicles Join "PSYCH: The Musical" for Midnight Screening Extravaganza in San Diego

WHAT: With true delicious flavor, the cast of USA's longest-running series on air, PSYCH, will be appearing at the World Premiere of "PSYCH: The Musical" (#PsychTheMusical) tonight in San Diego and they, along with the show's executive producers, will be stylishly transported to the event by Wienermobile teams - #Bunderstruck and #Autobuhn - to the midnight screening of the show's first-ever musical episode. PSYCH stars James Roday, Dule Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen and Kirsten Nelson will be in attendance with executive producers Chris Henze and Kelly Kulchak, and the creator/executive producer Steve Franks. On the heels of the new Wienermobile Run program that pits the fleet of iconic vehicles against each other and gives fans unprecedented access to the Wienermobile via Twitter and Instagram, the brand has partnered with USA's hit show for this surprise appearance at the screening which is expected to draw over 3,000 'PSYCH-Os' - PSYCH's faithful band of fans. Viewers of the cult series are well aware that Shawn (Roday) spent a summer driving the Wienermobile, so it's only fitting that Oscar Mayer would be on hand to celebrate with the gang.

WHY: Along the way, the Wienermobile drivers, also known as Hotdoggers, will be passing out Wiener Whistles to fans, encouraging them to join their teams online and share photos on Instagram and Twitter with their team hashtags to help them earn points and ultimately become the Wienermobile Run Champion. With 2.7 million Facebook fans, PSYCH stars Roday as a police consultant who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute the precinct detectives think he's psychic. With help from his best friend and reluctant sidekick (Hill), he continues to solve the mysterious and often bizarre crimes of the Santa Barbara Police Department.
