ANIMAL PLANET'S "TREEHOUSE MASTERS" BRANCHES OUT WITH A NEW SEASON AFTER SCORING STELLAR RATINGS

(July 30, 2013 - Silver Spring, Md.) - Animal Planet's hit frosh series, TREEHOUSE MASTERS, is renewed for a second season and is slated to return first quarter of 2014 with a 13-episode order. This announcement comes on the heels of the series' outstanding season-one performance, which had its finale Friday, July 26.
TREEHOUSE MASTERS, which captures the sky-high creations of renowned treehouse builder Pete Nelson, delivered strong numbers among all major demos, including 1.3M P2+ viewers, 891K HH, 638K P25-54, 570K P18-49, 347K M25-54 and 292K W25-54.
TREEHOUSE MASTERS is Animal Planet's second-most-watched series year to date among P2+ viewers and M25-54. The July 12th episode, "Canopy Clubhouse" is its best-performing episode to date, delivering 1.6M P2+ viewers.
TREEHOUSE MASTERS is produced for Animal Planet by STILETTO Television. Mark Grove, Garry Kief and Troy Queen are the executive producers for STILETTO Television. For Animal Planet, Jason Carey is the executive producer; Vaibhav Bhatt is supervising producer; and Sarah Russell is production coordinator.
