ABC, ESPN & ESPN2 Combine to Present 2013 Little League World Series from Williamsport
ESPN and ESPN2 will televise 27 Little League World Series games in Williamsport, beginning with four games Thursday, August 15.

ABC, ESPN & ESPN2 Combine to Present 2013 Little League World Series from Williamsport

Ravech, Hershiser, Garciaparra and Sire Form New ABC Broadcast Team; Chris McKendry, Jay Crawford to Call Games and Host SportsCenter On Site

ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to present all 32 games of the 2013 Little League World Series presented by Kellogg's Frosted Flakes from Williamsport, Pa., August 15-25, at Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium. ABC will broadcast five games from Williamsport, including the International Championship and the United States Championship on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 12:30 p.m. ET and 3:30 p.m., respectively. ABC will then broadcast the Little League World Series Championship on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m.

ESPN and ESPN2 will televise 27 Little League World Series games in Williamsport, beginning with four games Thursday, Aug. 15. ESPN and ESPN2 games will also be available on WatchESPN with select games also available on ESPN Mobile TV.

Commentators

· Baseball Tonight's Karl Ravech and Nomar Garciaparra join Sunday Night Baseball analyst Orel Hershiser and reporter Jaymee Sire for all five ABC games, including the World Series Championship, United States Championship and International Championship;

· Ravech and Dave Flemming will rotate play-by-play duties throughout the Little League World Series with Hershiser, Garciaparra and Kyle Peterson serving as lead analysts;

· SportsCenter's Chris McKendry and Jay Crawford will each call a game from the booth; McKendry will join Peterson to provide commentary for the Third Place Consolation Game on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. and Crawford will provide commentary with Garciaparra on Monday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m.

SportsCenter and Additional Coverage

· SportsCenter will air live from Williamsport, Pa. on Monday, Aug. 19, and Tuesday, Aug. 20, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. hosted by McKendry and Crawford;

· SportsCenter will also provide daily, on-site updates with coverage led by McKendry and Ravech, including a special ABC SportsCenter broadcast on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m. following the International Championship;

· The Little League Web Gems/World Series Preview presented by Subway will highlight the tournament's best defensive plays and preview the Little League World Series Championship, on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 1 p.m. McKendry will host the show with Garciaparra and Peterson;

· "Wired" segments with coaches and umpires will provide unique insight and instant reaction;

· ESPN.com's Little League World Series page will be updated with scores, results and game stories;

· Interaction across ESPN social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter (#LLWS), will drive conversation about the Little League World Series.

Little League World Series Telecast Open

The Little League World Series telecast open for 2013 celebrates summertime with a carnival theme set to the band 1985's popular "Summer Forever" track.

ESPN International

ESPN International will televise up to 32 Little League World Series games from Williamsport throughout the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.
