The "Late Show" Week of Sept. 23
Former President Bill Clinton will visit the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN Monday, Sept. 23 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, kicking off a week of superstar guests to visit the show next week.
This marks President Clinton's ninth visit to the LATE SHOW. He last appeared on the broadcast Oct. 12, 2011. President Clinton will preside over the ninth annual meeting of his Clinton Global Initiative, which will be held in New York City from Sept. 24 through Sept. 26. The featured theme of this year's Clinton Global Initiative is "Mobilizing for Impact," focusing on involving the right people and resources needed to drive effective action on global challenges.
Other guests visiting the LATE SHOW next week include musical guests Tired Pony (Monday, Sept. 23); music legend Cher, who will sit down for an interview with Letterman and also perform on the broadcast, and actress Lizzy Caplan (Tuesday, Sept. 24); actor Robin Williams, star of the new CBS comedy series THE CRAZY ONES, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 on the Network, musical guests Icona Pop and a Top Ten List presented by opera star Renee Fleming (Wednesday, Sept. 25); actor Johnny Galecki, star of the CBS comedy series THE BIG BANG THEORY, which has its seventh season premiere that same evening, an all-new edition of Stupid Human Tricks and musical guests Kings of Leon (Thursday, Sept. 26); and actor Steve Martin (Friday, Sept. 27).
The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
