College Football: Nine Unbeatens & 13 Ranked Teams Highlighted by ESPN Prime Time Doubleheader

ESPN's college football schedule this week includes nine undefeated teams and 13 of the top 25 ranked programs, highlighted by an ESPN doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 12: unbeaten No. 18 Michigan at Big Ten rival Penn State at 5 p.m. ET followed by one-loss No. 9 Texas A&M at Ole Miss at 8:30 p.m.

The action for Saturday will begin at noon with ABC and ESPN telecasts involving an unbeaten team: The Red River Rivalry pitting No. 12 Oklahoma against Texas from Dallas on ABC and undefeated No. 25 Missouri at No. 7 Georgia, with its only loss of the season coming to No. 3 Clemson, on ESPN.

Additional highlights:

· This week's ESPN Thursday night telecast on October 10 at 7:30 p.m. will pit unbeaten No. 8 Louisville against one-loss Rutgers in a showdown between American Athletic Conference members.

· ABC will televise two ranked teams at 3:30 p.m. in a reverse mirror with ESPN2: undefeated No. 3 Clemson against Boston College and No. 19 Northwestern at Wisconsin.

· An ESPN2 Saturday night doubleheader on October 12 will feature two unbeaten teams: No. 1 Alabama at Kentucky at 7 p.m. ET followed by No. 11 UCLA against California at 10:30 p.m.

· ESPNU will televise Pitt at No. 24 Virginia Tech in an ACC Coastal Division matchup between teams with one-loss on Saturday, Oct. 12, at noon.

· ESPN3 will showcase undefeated No. 23 Northern Illinois against Akron on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 5 p.m. while ESPNEWS will televise unbeaten Houston against Memphis at noon.
