"JUAN-UARY" 2014 KICKS OFF WITH THE TWO-PART "BACHELOR" PREMIERE AND CONTINUES WITH SUNDAY "BACHELOR" SPECIALS THROUGHOUT THE MONTH CULMINATING IN THE FIRST-EVER LIVE "BACHELOR" WEDDING

The Two-Part "Bachelor" Premiere Launches with "The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo" On Sunday, January 5

Bachelor Nation will be able to go behind the scenes of ABC's hit romance reality series "The Bachelor" as never before when "Juan-uary" heats up with three hour-long "Bachelor" specials, two featuring the new Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis, and the other focusing on fans' favorite Bachelor couples, all leading up to the first-ever live "Bachelor" wedding.

As previously announced, "The Bachelor," with Juan Pablo getting his chance to find the love of his life, will premiere on MONDAY, JANUARY 6 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), but first, join Chris Harrison in a one-hour special edition of "The Bachelor" entitled "The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo," airing SUNDAY, JANUARY 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). Viewers will get a more in-depth look at our newest Bachelor, the sexy, single dad, Juan Pablo Galavis. It's an exciting sneak peek into Juan Pablo's everyday life in Miami, his family and his endearing relationship with his four-year-old daughter, Camila. A rare behind-the-scenes look at the casting process of the show - from the application process to Chris surprising this season's lucky women -- is also featured, along with an in-depth look at several of the bachelorettes.

Jump on the "Bachelor Bus" on "The Bachelor: Behind the Scenes," airing SUNDAY, JANUARY 12 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), as we surprise fans of the Bachelor Nation by crashing their premiere viewing parties. But what happens the day after the first rose ceremony? For the first time ever, viewers will get to see extended footage of the women he chose that fateful night moving into the mansion, as well as an emotional look at the women he sent home. What goes into making a Bachelor fantasy date? Follow Bachelor production as they create a magical "winter wonderland," and an up-close and personal look at the bachelorette Juan Pablo chose for his first date of the season.

Catch up with some of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette's" all-time favorite couples on "The Bachelor: Bachelor Love Stories," airing SUNDAY, JANUARY 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), and discover how these love stories have endured long after their final rose ceremonies. Desiree and Chris, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and other fan favorites welcome viewers back to see how their relationships (and in some cases, their families) have grown. An average of 17.1 million viewers watched the original Bachelorette, then Trista Rehn, say "I do" to the love of her life, Ryan Sutter, in 2004. Now, celebrate their tenth anniversary with them, as a decade and two children later, they will display their continued devotion to one another with a very moving vow renewal ceremony. And to top it all off, Sean and Catherine will reminisce about their own journey to find one another as soul mates as they prepare for their own wedding, "The Bachelor: Sean and Catherine's Wedding," airing live, SUNDAY, JANUARY 26 (8:00-10:00 p.m.,ET).

Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo," "The Bachelor: Behind the Scenes," "The Bachelor: Bachelor Love Stories," "The Bachelor: Sean and Catherine's Wedding," is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are executive producers. "The Bachelor" specials will be broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound.
