TV LAND SPREADS CHRISTMAS CHEER

TV Land Treats Viewers To First Time Ever Back-To-Back Holiday Episodes Of Its Original Sitcoms, "Kirstie" And "The Exes"

New York, NY - November 22, 2013 - 'Tis the season to be jolly... because for the first time ever, TV Land is airing Christmas-themed episodes of its original sitcoms. The festivities will start on Wednesday, December 18th with back-to-back episodes of TV Land's newest original series, "Kirstie," at 10pm ET/PT, followed by "The Exes" at 10:30pm ET/PT. The holiday episodes of both series will encore on Christmas Day - Wednesday, December 25th at 10pm ET/PT.

"Kirstie" will kick off this fun-filled holiday night with Academy Award(R)-winner and eight-time Primetime Emmy(R) Award-winner, guest star Cloris Leachman. The episode begins with Maddie (Kirstie Alley), Thelma (Rhea Perlman) and Frank (Michael Richards) attempting to lift Arlo's (Eric Petersen) spirits by celebrating Christmas together for the very first time. Excited by this sudden boost in holiday cheer, Arlo surprises Maddie with a gift she unfortunately cannot return: Shirley (Leachman), Maddie's estranged mother. Shirley's presence and spiteful contempt threatens to derail the perfect Christmas Maddie is desperately trying to give her son. Will she be The Grinch who steals Christmas?

Then, at 10:30pm ET/PT, another Grinch takes over for "The Exes" in an episode called "How the Grinch Spent Xmas." While the rest of the gang is preparing for their first Christmas together, Holly (Kristen Johnston) meets the perfect guy on an overseas flight. When he's denied entry to the country, Holly has to choose between the perfect Christmas with her friends and remaining at the airport with the man of her dreams. Meanwhile, Phil (Donald Faison) creates a gift that keeps on giving - a "sexy present" for Eden (Kelly Stables). Tune in to find out just how merry this Christmas will be!

"Kirstie" premieres with back-to-back episodes on December 4th at 10pm ET/PT on TV Land. The show centers around Broadway star Madison Banks, whose life turns upside down when Arlo, the son she gave up at birth, suddenly appears hoping to connect. Rhea Perlman stars as Maddie's assistant and best friend alongside Michael Richards as Maddie's outlandish driver.

"The Exes" premieres the following week on December 11th at 10:30pm ET/PT. "The Exes" revolves around the unlikely trio of Phil, Haskell and Stuart (David Alan Basche), three roommates and divorcés who have finally found bromance after initially being forced to live together by their divorce attorney and landlord, Holly. Stuart, a dentist, has finally started dating again, Phil's client list is ever-expanding as he becomes one of the top sports agents at his firm, and Haskell, a former homebody, is getting his game back. Meanwhile, Holly's just trying to find Mr. Right and her assistant, Eden is never short on advice.
