BLAKE SHELTON, XENIA AND KELLY CLARKSON TO PERFORM ON DEC. 3 TELECAST OF "THE VOICE"

Current Coach Reteams With His Popular Season One Artist While Grammy Winner Also Joins for New Live Episode

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Nov. 27, 2013 - Coach Blake Shelton, Xenia and multi-platinum artist Kelly Clarkson will perform on the Tuesday, Dec. 3 telecast of NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice"

Blake will sing the holiday classic "Silver Bells" with Xenia, who was a popular member of his team during season one of "The Voice." Clarkson will sing "Underneath the Tree" from her just released Christmas album "Wrapped in Red."

Blake is currently a coach on NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical-competition series "The Voice." Blake recently was awarded CMA Awards' Album of the Year honor for his platinum-selling album "Based on a True Story....," and was named Male Vocalist of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

Just off the heels of his multi-week No. 1 smash hit, "Boys 'Round Here," the follow-up single "Mine Would Be You" raced to the top of the charts to mark his 15th No. 1 (10th consecutive) single. "Mine Would Be You" has topped the charts for the last three weeks, making it one of the longest-charting country singles of 2013. Blake has earned a host of other awards and nominations, including multiple Grammy nominations, six gold and platinum albums, and is the three-time host of the ACM Awards.

Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson has released 6 studio albums, 1 Greatest Hits album, sold over 20 million albums worldwide, and has had 10 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Clarkson is the recipient of three Grammys, four American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, a CMA Award and 12 Billboard Music Awards. Her last studio effort, "Stronger," was certified platinum, won the Grammy for best pop vocal album and produced the smash singles, "Mr. Know It All" and "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," which marks Clarkson's ninth and 10th top-10 hit.

"Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" was No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart for two consecutive weeks marking her third No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. Clarkson spent the summer touring with Maroon 5 and recording "Wrapped in Red," which features five original tracks as well as some Christmas favorites. The album debuted at No. 3 marking the biggest holiday album debut for a female since 2010.

Clarkson, who was an adviser on Blake's team during season two of "The Voice," will also be seen on NBC a week later as she stars in "Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale." The special will air Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Xenia released her debut EP "Sing You Home" in 2011. The disc reached No. 3 on the iTunes Pop charts. The "Sing You Home" single has also been a hit on YouTube.

Her connection to Blake remains strong. She contributed to the song "Silver Bells" on his 2012 holiday album, "Cheers, It's Christmas."

"The Voice" has led NBC to frequent Monday and Tuesday wins among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 so far this season, with NBC ranking #1 or tied for #1 for eight of nine weeks on both Monday and Tuesday nights among those networks season to date. In "most current" season averages through Nov. 17, the Monday edition of "The Voice" has averaged a 5.1 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49 and 15.2 million viewers overall, tying it as the #3 primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and making it the #1 unscripted series.

"The Voice" is a presentation of Mark Burnett's One Three Inc., Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who executive produces along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
