(Albuquerque, NM) Thursday, December 5, 2013 - ReelzChannel today announced the second seasons of crime drama series Cracked and King will premiere on Monday, January 6, 2014. Cracked, airing Mondays at 11pm ET/ 8pm PT, features Dr. Clara Malone (Brooke Nevin, Chicago Fire) in a unique blend of a police and medical drama inspired by the real-life experiences of police officers and mental health professionals. King, airing Mondays at 12am ET/ 9pm PT, features Detective Jessica King (Amy Price-Francis, The Cleaner) as a charismatic but unconventional cop whose unique eye for detail turns cases around. King sees what everyone else misses: in crime scenes, in evidence, in the motivations and drives of the suspects.

In the new season of Cracked, Detective Aidan Black (David Sutcliffe, Private Practice) and the Psych Crimes team are assigned a new unit psychiatrist, Dr. Clara Malone (Brooke Nevin, Chicago Fire). Together with Detective Poppy Wisnefski (Luisa D'Oliveira, 50/50) and psychiatric nurse Leo Beckett (Dayo Ade, The L.A. Complex), they are tasked with solving the most puzzling and problematic cases the city has to offer. Under the leadership of Inspector Diane Caligra (Karen LeBlanc, Shattered), the Psych Crimes unit navigates the mental health issues suffered by people whose lives are impacted by crime. Aidan and Clara are both accustomed to operating outside the normal parameters of their respective professions and need to learn to trust each other in order to succeed in the face of overwhelming adversity. Cracked is created by writer Tracey Forbes (Flashpoint, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Toronto Emergency Task Force officer Calum de Hartog and is produced by White Pine Pictures in association with the CBC. New episodes of Cracked air Mondays at 11pm ET/ 8pm PT on Reelz starting Monday, January 6, 2014.

In the new season of King, Detective Jessica King continues to face the challenges of each case while juggling her pregnancy, her husband's gambling and the changing dynamics of the team. King and husband Danny Sless (Gabriel Hogan, Heartland) have decided to start afresh: they've sold the house, paid off Danny's gambling debts and are starting to get excited about the baby. Firmly in control of the M.C.T.F., Jess rebuilds the team according to her style and her needs. Her fresh faces include Pen Martin (Rossif Sutherland, ER) a hot shot from the Spin Unit and Ingrid Evans (Karen Robinson, Narc), one of Organized Crime's most experienced players. These new team members will inevitably shake things up and Derek Spears (Alan Van Sprang, Reign) will have to adjust if he wants to stay relevant. Ticking clocks, fear of someone killing again, a victim dying before King finds them... every case is critical and Jess needs to solve it and solve it fast. But Jess is also going to be a mother, and she wants at all costs to save her third marriage. Can Jess King have it all? New episodes of King air Mondays at 12am ET/ 9pm PT on Reelz starting Monday, January 6, 2014.
