BORNE TO BE WILDE (TBS, New!) - Matt Eddy and Billy Eddy (Time Out) has set up a multi-camera comedy at the cable channel about "three adult siblings who take over running their parents auto shop on the outskirts of Phoenix and discover that while it's easy to slip into their old sibling rivalries, navigating adulthood is easier with the support of their very imperfect family." Courteney Cox and David Arquette of Coquette Productions also serve as executive producers on the half-hour for the ABC Studios-based Signature. (THR.com)
GRAND CENTRAL (ABC, New!) - Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn ("Haven") are developing a new drama at the network about "a widow who answers a phone call from her husband who died two days earlier in a plane crash. The husband predicts two tragedies that later come true and helps his wife avoid death." ABC Studios-based Signature is behind the hour, which is based on Stephen King's short story "The New York Times at Special Bargain Rates" and is also being eyed for a straight-to-series order. Shawn Pillar, Lloyd Segan and Scott Shepherd are also on board as executive producers. (THR.com)
STREGA (A&E, New!) - Joe Gangemi (Eliza Graves) has booked a potential drama at the cable channel about "a young American family who hire an au pair from Italy only to discover that dark forces come along with her." The Gotham Group is co-producing alongside the ABC Studios-based Signature banner. (THR.com)
SUBURBAN SHOOTOUT (WE tv, New!) - Byron Balasco's import of the U.K. comedy - about "a woman who escapes the city and her father's mob ties for suburban bliss only to discover that she has to use the skills she learned from her family to achieve the life she desires" - has found a new home at the cable channel. The format was first developed by HBO in 2008 and by ABC in 2011. Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan's as well as Feelgood Fiction's Laurence Bowen and Philip Clarke are also executive producing for the ABC Studios-based Signature. (THR.com)
TYRANT (FX/Fox 21; W: Craig Wright; D: David Yates) - The cable channel has given a series order of at least 10 episode to the drama, about an unassuming American family drawn into the workings of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation. The show's ensemble cast includes Adam Rayner, Anne Winters, Ashraf Barhom, Fares Fares, Jennifer Finnigan, Jordana Spiro, Justin Kirk, Mehdi Dehbi, Moran Atias, Noah Silver, Salim Daw and Sibylla Deen. Gideon Raff and Howard Gordon are also along among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
