Pivot goes bilingual in January with the acquisition of "bref." the French breakout hit with already over 3 million fans on Facebook. Minute-long creative shorts with English subtitles, "bref." is the network's newest character driven series that follows the endearing antics of a single, almost 30-year-old Parisian, Kyan, as he weaves through life dealing with work, family and romantic encounters. Featuring a unique storytelling method at a very fast pace, each installment is wrought with quips, one liners and lots of hilarity that all Millennials can relate to. The untraditional series will air in 15-minute blocks to allow the binge viewing that the Pivot audience appreciates. Pivot has acquired 41 episodes. The special will be shot at Joe's Pub in New York City on Thursday, March 6 Premieres Saturday, March 8 at 10:00PM ET/PT (Half-hour special)

"Freestyle Love Supreme," a half-hour original special, brings the national audience into New York City's celebrated venue, Joe's Pub, to experience the much talked about live improvised show from two of the creators of the Tony award-winning musical, In The Heights. Dubbed by The New York Times as "Masters in the art of Freestyle rhyme," Freestyle Love Supreme uses rap to spin audience suggestions into fully-realized musical numbers. Now, for the first-time, Pivot viewers can get in on the action via social media. "Freestyle Love Supreme" stars Lin Manuel Miranda, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Anthony Veneziale, Chris Sullivan, Bill Sherman and Arthur Lewis. The show is created by Thomas Kail and Anthony Veneziale. Kail and Veneziale also executive produce, along with Jon Steingart, Jill Furman and Jillian Apfelbaum. The special is produced by Ars Nova.
