New York, NY (January 29, 2014) Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company, will welcome melodic-rock quartet The Fray to Fuse's New York City studios for a special 30-minute performance airing live and commercial-free on Monday, February 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Fray is Isaac Slade (pianist/vocalist), Joe King (guitarist/vocalist), Dave Welsh (guitarist), and Ben Wysocki (drummer). The band formed in 2002 after high school friends Slade and King bumped into each other at a local guitar shop. The group achieved national success with their first single, "Over My Head (Cable Car)," which became a top ten hit in the U.S. The release of their second single, "How to Save a Life" brought them worldwide fame, and the group's second self-titled album debuted at number-one on the Billboard charts and was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. The Fray was ranked #84 on Billboard's "Artists of the Decade" in 2010. The band released Scars and Stories in 2011 as the follow-up to their sophomore album. The foursome's fourth album, Helios, featuring first single "Love Don't Die" will be released February 25, 2014 on Epic Records.
