TOP 12 FINALISTS COMPETE FOR AMERICA'S VOTE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5, ON FOX

Season 11 IDOL Winner Phillip Phillips and Irish Rock Group Kodaline to Perform on Next Results Show Thursday, March 6

Kristen O'Connor was eliminated tonight on AMERICAN IDOL XIII, after O'Connor received the fewest of the 71 million votes. From Sebastian, FL, the 24-year-old sang "Beautiful Disaster" on last night's "This Is Me"-themed performance show. In addition, on tonight's results show, AMERICAN IDOL Season 12 winner Candice Glover performed a medley of "Cried" and "Same Kinda Man" and British chart-topper Jake Bugg performed his hit song, "Me and You."

Next week, on Wednesday, March 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 12 - Ben Briley, C.J. Harris, Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, MK Nobilette, Emily Piriz, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson and Sam Woolf - will perform songs that speak to their "Home." Song selections can range from a song that was popular during their childhood to a tribute to their home state.

On the next live results show airing Thursday, March 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), tune in to find out who will be sent home. Plus, AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips will perform his new single, "Raging Fire." Written by Phillips, "Raging Fire" is the first single off his sophomore album, which will be released on 19 Entertainment/Interscope Records this spring. In addition, Irish rock band Kodaline will perform their hit, "All I Want."

Starting this week, another exciting element begins as viewers at home will have five ways to vote for their favorite singer, including voting via Google Search when the IDOL vote window opens at the top of the show, by searching for IDOL-related terms. For the first time ever, fans will be able to vote immediately after their favorites perform. After casting their votes, fans will have the opportunity to share their votes on Google+, follow contestants, join community conversations or participate in Google Hangouts about the show. Viewers can also vote online at AmericanIdol.com; via the AMERICAN IDOL App; via text messaging; and via toll-free calling.
