DAVID NEVINS PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT, SHOWTIME NETWORKS INC.

LOS ANGELES - March 4, 2014 - David Nevins has been promoted to the newly-created role of President of Showtime Networks Inc., and has signed a new deal with the Company through 2018. The announcement was made today by Matthew C. Blank, Chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks Inc., to whom he will continue to report.

In this expanded leadership role, Nevins will now add oversight for SHOWTIME Sports(R), and the Company's marketing, creative and digital media divisions. Nevins joined SHOWTIME(R) in 2010 as President of Entertainment, responsible for developing, acquiring and supervising all aspects of programming for Showtime Networks, across all genres including comedy, drama, reality, specials, documentaries and films, along with managing the network's scheduling, research, acquisitions, home entertainment, business affairs and corporate communications teams - areas which he will continue to oversee in his new role. He will also remain as the liaison to CBS Corporation's international and domestic distribution groups.

"David Nevins is one of the most talented executives working in television today," said Blank. "His arrival at SHOWTIME was followed by an incredible period of renewal for our Network, and these transformative years have led to critical-acclaim, consistent buzz, subscriber growth and awards recognition. I am confident that his keen eye and creative impact will continue to be felt across all areas of our Company for years to come."

Nevins is a multiple Emmy(R) Award-winning producer and veteran network programming executive. During his tenure, SHOWTIME has launched eight consecutive hit series, including HOMELAND, the first project he greenlit, which redefined the network and has garnered unprecedented acclaim and awards. The series was honored with the Network's first ever Golden Globe(R) Award for Best Television Series - Drama and first Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series. Nevins was also responsible for such record-breaking and critically acclaimed series as RAY DONOVAN, MASTERS OF SEX, SHAMELESS and HOUSE OF LIES, all among the Network's highest-rated series. Since 2010, the Network's growth has steadily increased, adding five million subscribers, which has resulted in consistent growth in revenue. In that time frame, the Network has also amassed 99 Emmy Award nominations and 22 wins, and 29 Golden Globe nominations, resulting in nine wins. Additionally, Nevins has re-established SHOWTIME as a home for esteemed documentary filmmakers, and has launched documentaries that include THE WORLD ACCORDING TO DICK CHENEY, RICHARD PRYOR: OMIT THE LOGIC, and the multi-episode docu-series TIME OF DEATH and YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY.

Prior to joining SHOWTIME, Nevins was President of Imagine Television from July 2002 until June 2010, where he also served as executive producer for all of the company's television shows. Under his leadership, Imagine produced the Emmy Award-winning series Arrested Development, the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning series 24, the Emmy Award-nominated Friday Night Lights, and Parenthood. Previously, as Executive Vice President, Programming at Fox Broadcasting Company, Nevins spearheaded development and current programming for comedy and drama series, where he developed 24, among many others. Before joining FOX, he was Senior Vice President, Primetime Series at NBC, overseeing such groundbreaking series as The West Wing, Will & Grace and ER.

Nevins graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts. He and his wife, Andrea, a documentary filmmaker, live in Los Angeles with their three children.
