Madsen will play Rhonda Wunch, "CDC scientist Thomas Wunch's (Kyle Schmid) mother who is close to her son and wants him to stay home in Babylon." Coster then is set as Ernie Wunch, "Thomas' father and Rhonda's husband, a former cop who most people thought ran away to Daytona"; with Vazquez as Chief of Police Matt Conte.
