ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AND CBS ANNOUNCE NEW "ACM SESSIONS" WITH JERROD NIEMANN

"ACM Sessions" Online Concert Series Now Available On-Demand on CBS.com

March 12, 2014 - The Academy of Country Music and CBS today announced the launch of a new performance in the "ACM Sessions" online concert series, which brings fans year-round access to country music's biggest stars with on-demand performances and interviews. "ACM Sessions" with Jerrod Niemann is now available on-demand exclusively on CBS.com and CBS Audience Network partner sites.

"ACM Sessions" feature some of country music's biggest stars and rising talent - recent performances have included Luke Bryan, Brett Eldredge and Justin Moore - performing their hits and participating in Q&A sessions hosted by the Academy of Country Music's Lisa Lee. "ACM Sessions" with Jerrod Niemann was taped in front of a live audience at the Tracking Room studios in Nashville.

"'ACM Sessions' provides country music fans with in depth personal discussions and intimate performances with today's established and emerging acts," said Tom Lisack, Vice President of Content and Artist Relations, CBS Interactive Entertainment. "We're excited to be working with the Academy of Country Music to bring more of these features to country music fans in 2014."

Jerrod Niemann's performance features songs off of his forthcoming March 25 release, High Noon, including the Top-10-and-climbing single "Drink to That All Night." Niemann exploded onto the country music scene with his chart-topping major-label debut, 2010's Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury. The album included the #1 smash and RIAA-certified Platinum digital single, "Lover, Lover," and the follow-up Top 5 single, "What Do You Want." Niemann - who has also written songs for and with such artists as Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, and Lee Brice - returned in 2012 with the acclaimed, musically adventurous release, Free the Music. In his upcoming album, High Noon, Niemann continues to pursue the innovative sonic approach that has defined his identity in country music, while bearing down on the rock-solid songwriting that first brought him national attention.

Fans can watch Jerrod Niemann's and previous "ACM Sessions" performances on-demand on CBS.com. Jerrod Niemann's performance is available at: http://www.cbs.com/shows/acm-sessions/jerrod-niemann/. The show is also available on-demand through CBS properties and select CBS Audience Network partners. Additionally, fans can catch Niemann live at the 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause(R) Festival on Saturday, April 5 at the LINQ in Las Vegas, Nev., as part of The Week Vegas Goes Country(R).

The 49TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, Country Music's Party of the Year(R), will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 6 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
