TV ONE ANNOUNCES THIRD SEASON PREMIERE OF "R&B DIVAS ATLANTA" ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23 AT 10 PM/ET

Silver Spring, MD - March 18, 2013 - TV One's R&B Divas Atlanta returns for its third season on Wednesday, April 23 at 10 PM/ET. Former Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson and former 702 lead singer Kameelah Williams join original cast members Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt, Angie Stone and Monifah Carter as the ladies seek higher recognition in the music industry. The 10 episode, one-hour series will conclude with two reunion specials to recap the season.

Season three follows the new mix of Divas and their exploits in Atlanta as they balance a myriad of personal trials and triumphs. In addition to working on their individual careers, the ladies will also focus their energy on new beginnings and personal milestones. In contrast to the series' tumultuous season two, in which this sisterhood was nearly destroyed, season three unveils their attempts to mend their relationships with each other. Additionally, this season will follow the group as they prepare for Monifah Carter and partner Terez Thorpe's highly anticipated destination wedding.

"R&B Divas Atlanta has consistently delivered fantastic performances for our network," commented D'Angela Proctor, SVP of Programming and Production for TV One. "Our audience has clearly connected with these Divas and grown to relate to and care about their lives and careers. I can think of no better way to continue upon the success of our 10th anniversary year than by welcoming back the origin to our highly successful Divas Franchise. "

Executive Producers are Leslie Greif, Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Phil Thornton, Paul Coy Allen, Aaron Fishman, David St. John, Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert.
