ESQUIRE NETWORK ORDERS SECOND SEASON OF "FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES"

-- First Season Ends Tonight with Special Episode Featuring Former NFL Players, Coaches, Experts and the Series' Coaches and Parents --

LOS ANGELES - April 1, 2014 - Esquire Network announced today that it has ordered a second season of FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES, the critically-lauded and thought-provoking series that takes viewers inside the grown-up world of youth football. The 10-part original docu-series, which premiered in January, provided an authentic and provocative look at how kids and adults handle the pressures of intensely competitive youth sports - and raised important questions about safety and competitiveness at such a young age.

"The first season of FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES sparked a national debate about competitive youth sports, and we think it's important to continue that discussion with a second season of the series," said Matt Hanna, Head of Original Programming, Esquire Network. "At its heart, FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES is a series about parenting - and the question about hard we should push our children is an incredibly relevant one for parents across America."

Today's second season announcement coincides with the premiere of a special episode of FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES, TACKLING TYKES, which features many of season 1's coaches and parents, former NFL coaches and players, youth football leaders, and sports experts including psychologists, trainers and neurologists, who discuss safety, coaching and the role of youth football in our society. Hosted by The Insider's Kevin Frazier, the 90-minute TACKLING TYKES special premieres tonight, Tuesday, April 1 at 9P E/P.

FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES is produced by 441 Productions, Texas Crew Productions and Electro-Fish Films for Esquire Network.
