WatchESPN Launches on Amazon Fire TV

Includes Live Access to ESPN Networks, Video-On-Demand Clips from ESPN.com

WATCH ABC, WATCH ABC Family and Suite of WATCH Disney Products to Launch Later This Year

Disney & ESPN Media Networks today announced that they have agreed to deliver live programming, events and video content via WatchESPN, WATCH ABC, WATCH ABC Family, WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD on the new Amazon Fire TV. WatchESPN launches today in conjunction with Amazon Fire TV's debut release. Later this year, Amazon Fire TV owners will also be able to access WATCH ABC, WATCH ABC Family and the suite of WATCH Disney authenticated products.

Beginning today, users who receive ESPN's linear networks as part of an affiliated video subscription will be able to access ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, ESPN Deportes and ESPNEWS through WatchESPN on Amazon Fire TV. ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater will also be accessible when those channels are in season. Additionally, WatchESPN on Amazon Fire TV includes an on-demand video offering that features the most recent and relevant content available to all users.

"Creating ubiquity for our authenticated WATCH products adds tremendous value to the multichannel video subscription, and collaborating with Amazon to make our networks available on the new Amazon Fire TV strengthens that value," said Matt Murphy, Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution, Disney & ESPN Media Networks. "Today's launch of WatchESPN allows early Amazon Fire TV adopters to receive live access to sports programming from ESPN networks on day one. Additionally, in the near future, they will also find fan-favorite shows and entertainment programming from our WATCH ABC, WATCH ABC Family and suite of WATCH Disney authenticated products."

"We are thrilled to announce that WatchESPN is now available for Amazon Fire TV," said Peter Larsen, Vice President of Product Management, Amazon. "Customers now have access to their favorite WatchESPN content right in their living room in a visually stunning way. We know our customers love watching their favorite sports shows and games and we're excited to stream it to them from the comfort of their couch."

WatchESPN on Amazon Fire TV delivers a one-stop video destination for sports fans with live access to popular sports and fan-favorite shows including college football and basketball, Monday Night Football, MLB, NBA, major golf tournaments, all four Grand Slam tennis events, SportsCenter, PTI and more. Additionally, curated on-demand video featuring the most recent and relevant content - including highlights and news clips from ESPN.com as well as short-form segments from programs such as E:60, Outside The Lines, SC Featured, Sport Science and others - are accessible to all users.

Amazon Fire TV is the latest platform to carry the authenticated networks service, which is also accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, and through Xbox 360, Xbox One, Apple TV and Roku.
