CUZ-BROS (CBS/CTS/Sony; W: David Caspe & Erik Sommers; D: Pamela Fryman) - Parker Young is set to star opposite fellow "Enlisted" alum Geoff Stults in the comedy pilot, about Nick (Geoff Stults), a successful, suave ladies' man whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay. He'll play said cousin, Barry, who is "sweet, clueless and naive with an uncanny ability to say/do the wrong thing at the wrong time, even though he means really well." Both Stults and Young's roles are in second position to the FOX comedy. Debra Jo Rupp and Andrea Anders also star. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - HBO's new drama "The Leftovers" will go on a short hiatus to prep its final episodes, a development which isn't expected to affect its June 15 premiere date (Deadline.com); "Dancing with the Stars" showrunner Conrad Green is departing the veteran ABC series to oversee FOX's upcoming effort "Utopia" alongside Jon Kroll (Deadline.com); Booboo Stewart has been cast as Jafar's son Jay in Disney Channel's original movie "Descendants" (THR.com); Joey King has joined Lifetime's "Outlaw Prophet" as Elissa Wall, "the battered young woman who brings Jeffs (Tony Goldwyn) to justice" (Deadline.com); and Steven Cree has joined the cast of Starz's "Outlander" as Ian Murray, "Jenny's husband and Jamie's best friend since childhood, who lost part of his leg during battle with the English" (Deadline.com).
