Followed By An All-New Episode of "House of Food" At 11:00 P.M. ET/PT

New York, NY (April 9, 2014) - MTV today announced the return of "16 and Pregnant" on a new date, Monday, April 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed by an all-new episode of "House of Food" at 11:00p.m. ET/PT. This season of "16 and Pregnant" will feature 12 episodes of young mothers with their own unique set of problems, concerns and challenges. The premiere episode will introduce Maddy, a star athlete who gets pregnant after a one night stand and potentially loses the opportunity to go to college on a scholarship.

Throughout the season, viewers will follow the stories of: a young girl who gives birth to twins and after constant fighting with the father of her children, she isn't sure he will be there to help raise them; a teen mother trying to mend the relationship with her own mother who struggles with addiction; the popular girl who gets pregnant and ends up homeless, and more. Each story will delve deeply into the unglamorous world of teen pregnancy as this group of young moms will have to face the harsh realities of teen parenthood.

In an all-new episode of "House of Food," things are heating up in the kitchen as tempers flare when Harrison finally confronts Suki at the worst possible time... during a knife lesson. And the drama continues to divide the house as an alliance between Suki, Will and Amanda sets the stage for an explosive confrontation.

"16 and Pregnant" is Executive Produced by Morgan J Freeman, Dia Sokol Savage and Lauren Dolgen. Jessica Zalkind, Andrew Portnoy, Sara Cohen, Janay Dutton and Nick Predescu are Executives in charge for MTV. Concept by Lauren Dolgen.

"House of Food" is produced by T Group Productions. Executive Producers on the series are Jenny Daly for T Group and Mike Duffy for Ugly Brother Studios. The show runners are Perry Dance and Ted Iredell. Tony DiBari, Elaine Metaxas and Karen Frank are Executive Producers for MTV. Matthew Parillo is the Executive in Charge of Production for MTV.
