"Live with Kelly and Michael" Announces the Semi-Finalists for "Live's Top Teacher Search" 2014
After receiving all of the nominations, "Live's" producers selected the 12 semi-finalists whose names were announced on today's show.

NEW YORK, NY - April 25, 2014 - This morning on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced the twelve semi-finalists for the 2014 edition of "LIVE's Top Teacher Search."

In early March, "LIVE" announced the return of "Top Teacher Week," a search to honor teachers from across the country for making their schools better, and for their service and commitment to their students and communities. All teachers are eligible, from public or private schools, from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. After receiving all of the nominations, "LIVE's" producers selected the twelve semi-finalists whose names were announced on today's show:

From the pool of semi-finalists, "LIVE's" viewers will determine the five finalists by voting from 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25 to 5:00 p.m., ET on April 28. Following an on-air announcement on April 29, the finalists will travel to New York City the week of May 12-16 to be showcased on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael." The educator chosen as the 2014 Top Teacher will be announced on "LIVE" the week of May 19.
