IMPASTOR (TV Land/CTS; W: Christopher Vane; D: Rob Greenberg) - Sara Rue ("Malibu Country") is set to star opposite Michael Rosenbaum in the single-camera comedy pilot, about a lowlife on the run from his debts (Rosenbaum) who hides away in a small town by conning its residents into thinking he's their newly hired gay pastor. She's set as Dora, "a local gossip and assistant to the pastor who also is in charge of the Lutheran Church's Selection Committee - responsible for bringing him to town in the first place." (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Karl Yune has been cast in "Arrow" as Maseo Yamashiro, Oliver's handler in the show's Hong Kong flashbacks who "will evolve into a teacher and a friend who helps Oliver step ever closer to becoming the superhero he is today" (TVLine.com); Carol Kane will recur on FOX's "Gotham" as the mother of Robin Lord Taylor's Oswald Cobblepot (TVLine.com); and Walton Goggins will return to "Sons of Anarchy" as transgender prostitute Venus Van Dam (@sutterink).
