Thousands of Sports Fans Take a Shot at a Spot on "Sports Jeopardy!" with Dan Patrick, Debuting This Fall on Crackle

CULVER CITY, CALIF. - (July 17, 2014) - Sports Jeopardy! with Dan Patrick is set to debut exclusively on Crackle this fall and has already received interest from thousands of fans vying for their chance to prove they have what it takes to win it all: more than 25,000 contestants registered to try out for the new TV quiz show's first season. Auditions began in June in Los Angeles, then traveled to Las Vegas, Chicago, and Dallas before wrapping up in New York City on July 19 and 20. The weekly 30-minute program combines the excitement and prestige of America's Favorite Quiz Show(R) with the rich and diverse world of sports.

"It seems that all of the fantasy sports addicts have found a way to cash in on all that invested time: by auditioning for Sports Jeopardy!," said Sports Jeopardy! host Dan Patrick. "Only the strong survive, so good luck to all the potential contestants and I'll see you on the front lines."

Auditions consisted of a qualifying test of 30 clues in 30 sports-related categories; for those who passed the initial test, the second phase of auditions took place later that day with mock game play and a short interview.
