TYLER POSEY TO HOST "TEEN CHOICE 2014" SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, LIVE ON FOX

Summer's Hottest Bands - MAGIC! and Rixton - Also Set To Perform

Actor and TEEN CHOICE Award winner Tyler Posey ("Teen Wolf") is set to host TEEN CHOICE 2014, airing live Sunday, Aug. 10 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. In addition, music groups MAGIC! and Rixton will turn up the heat on the TEEN CHOICE stage during their live performances.

Fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2014 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. Voting ends at 11:59 PM PT on Saturday, Aug. 9.

TEEN CHOICE 2014 celebrates the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web. Previously announced stars scheduled to appear are Keegan Allen, Jake T. Austin, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Big Show, Jamie Blackley, Ian Harding, Kellan Lutz, MKTO, Chloë Grace Moretz, Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld, Gregg Sulkin, Bella Thorne and Zendaya. The special also will feature a previously announced performance by Jason Derulo. Additional presenters, performers and nominees to be announced soon.

Tyler Posey stars on "Teen Wolf," currently in its fourth season. Last year, the series received a TEEN CHOICE 2013 Award for "Choice Summer TV Show," and Posey received the award for "Choice Male Summer TV Star," as well as an ALMA Award for "Favorite TV Actor." Most recently, he was named one of Variety's "Power of Youth" honorees. He received the award earlier this year in recognition of the work he has done with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Last year, Posey appeared on the big screen in "Scary Movie 5." He also starred in the indie film "White Frog" and in the upcoming feature comedy "Taco Shop," scheduled for release in 2015.

The global success of Toronto-born, Los Angeles-based band MAGIC! continues to rapidly build around the world. Its debut single, "Rude," has charted in more than 35 countries, including the United States, where the infectious single is being played across five different radio formats. It has ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 1 on the U.S. Shazam chart, No. 1 on the Billboard Top Digital Songs chart and it is currently No. 1 on the U.S iTunes Top Singles and Pop charts. The band distills a gentle Caribbean flavor with an arena-size bombast sound that is driven by its expansive approach to songwriting and a strong musical chemistry. Nasri (lead singer/songwriter) and Mark Pelli (guitar) deliver elements of reggae with a pop and rock vibe, while Ben Spivak (bass) and Alex Tanas (drums) inject the rock attitude to create an intoxicating musical experience. On July 1, Latium/RCA Records released MAGIC!'s debut album, "Don't Kill The Magic," which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

In March, British band Rixton released their debut EP, "Me And My Broken Heart," featuring their buzz-worthy single of the same title, which has sold more than 750,000 downloads and cracked the Top 10 at pop radio, while impacting Hot AC, Rhythmic, and AC. "Me And My Broken Heart" also ranks as a No. 1 Most Shazam-ed new track in the U.S., while the official video, directed by Cameron Duddy, has racked up more than 12 million views on YouTube/VEVO. They have been featured as an MTV 2014 "Artist To Watch" and a VEVO LIFT artist, while "Me And My Broken Heart" was chosen as an iTunes Single of the Week. Rixton recently announced their U.S. headline "Broken Heart Tour," kicking off July 30 in Boston, with Los Angeles and New York City dates selling out in 30 minutes! Hailing from Manchester, Rixton are Jake Roche (vocals/rhythm guitar), Danny Wilkin (bass/keys), Charley Bagnall (lead guitar) and Lewi Morgan (drums). Working with Grammy Award-winning producer Benny Blanco, Rixton are set to deliver their debut album on School Boy/Giant Little Man/Mad Love/Interscope Records this fall.
