HGTV FEATURES MORE SHOW AND DESIGNER PHOTOGRAPHY IN UPDATED FOLIO APP

New York [For Immediate Release - July 21, 2014] HGTV fans now have an easier way to discover design inspiration from their favorite HGTV shows and hosts, as well as America's best professional designers with the newly updated HGTV Folio App. Available in the App Store for free download on Apple iPad, HGTV Folio offers a seemingly endless stream of beautiful room photography, curated photo galleries and smart style guides selected by the experts at HGTV and is the perfect place to indulge in design inspiration at home or on the go.

"We're very excited to give our TV fans the ability to search for room photography from their favorite shows and HGTV hosts," said Vikki Neil, senior vice president and general manager, digital. "It's one of the many ways HGTV continues to provide great inspiration and solutions for our viewers."

New features to the app include a 'Shows' tab that offers galleries of rooms from favorite HGTV shows and hosts such as the Property Brothers, Sabrina Soto and Cousins Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri. Room-by-room tours of the latest HGTV Dream Home, HGTV Smart Home and Urban Oasis are also available. Users will continue to enjoy the easy sharing capabilities and photo organization - searchable by room, color and keyword, as well as the regular addition of new galleries.

In addition, HGTV Folio provides the stories behind the projects and helpful design tips from the professionals through hotspots and photo captions. Bios and social media links are available for users who want to learn more about the designers behind each project.

Whether users want to find the perfect look for their next room remodel, learn new ways to incorporate a favorite color into a space, share favorite looks with friends or help identify designs they love, HGTV Folio gives fans the tools they need to discover their decorating style and find design inspiration from HGTV's experts.
