FOX SPORTS 1 KICKS OFF AUGUST WITH BIG WEEK OF BOXING

Iron Mike Productions Title Fight Added to Programming Lineup

Sammy Vasquez Jr. and James Stevenson square off in a main event IBF/USBA Welterweight title bout presented by Mike Tyson's Iron Mike Productions on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes on Friday, Aug. 8 (9:00 PM ET) from CONSUL Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

Vasquez (15-0-0, 11KOs) fights in his third nationally televised fight of the year. Stevenson also stands undefeated at 21-0-0 with 14 knockouts. After opening in July live from Miami, this event marks the second Iron Mike fight card to air on FOX Sports 1, America's new sports network.

The addition of the Iron Mike fights loads the week with boxing on FOX Sports 1, with Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Productions' bouts airing live on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes Thursday, Aug. 7 (10:00 PM ET) from American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The GOLDEN BOY LIVE! co-main events feature Junior Lightweights Jerry Belmontes (19-4, 5 KOs) vs. Abner Cotto (17-2, 8 KOs) and Junior Welterweights KeAndre Gibson (10-0-1, 3 KOs) vs. Jose Hernandez (14-7-1, 6 KOs).

Both cards are available on FOX Sports GO, the app that provides live video of FOX Sports content at home or on the go.
