Cartoon Network Invites Fans to Take Over with New CN Sayin' App
Maybe: Cartoon Network continues its multiplatform expansion with the new CN Sayin' app for iOS devices. The app provides a system for fans to create video content in the form of various weekly activities, including acting like a television host or quoting favorite shows. The videos can then be submitted to Cartoon Network via the app for a chance to be used on-air as bumpers during Thursday night premieres from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
As the brand grows its mobile business, CN Sayin' further illustrates how Cartoon Network is redefining what it means to be a "network." Excellent content can be found on screens of all sizes and is designed specifically to suit the medium by which it is delivered. With CN Sayin', fans move from passive viewing to active engagement, essentially dictating what the on-air experience will look like.
Cartoon Network Digital currently has 24 apps in the App Store, with three ranking as #1 Top App. The brand's apps have received numerous industry accolades, including iTunes' Editor's Choice and Webby Official Honoree, along with awards from Kidscreen and Cynopsis.
