AUSTEN'S RAZOR (CBS, New!) - Arthur L. Caplan, David Klass and Perri Klass are set to team for a potential drama at the Eye about "a brilliant bioethicist called in at crisis moments to solve the most complicated, dynamic and confounding medical issues imaginable." Said effort, from Legendary Television and CBS Television Studios is inspired by the former's life, "an authority on bioethics, who works for the NYU Langone Medical Center and consults for companies and organizations around the globe." Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott and the Klasses are executive producing the project, which has a production commitment, with Caplan serving as a consulting producer. (Deadline.com)

He'll play Owen Schmidt, "a businessman and President of Loomis Lutheran Church. Although he welcomes Buddy as the new pastor, he's warily suspicious of this outsider and quite baffled by Buddy's utter lack of Scriptural knowledge."
