10 BEACON HILL (ABC, New!) - Amy Holden Jones ("Black Box") is back in business with the Alphabet for a new medical procedural/workplace ensemble about "a brilliant team of doctors who take on the most difficult cases, led by a deeply compassionate medical genius with poor health habits of his own and his 17-year-old prodigy niece." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour, which has a penalty attached. Erwin Stoff and Oly Obst of 3 Arts Entertainment will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
ASTRONAUT'S GUIDE TO LIFE ON EARTH, AN (ABC, New!) - Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker ("Surviving Jack") have scored a pilot production commitment from the Alphabet for a multi-camera comedy about "an astronaut who is back from space and finds that re-entering domestic life might be the hardest mission he's ever faced." Said effort, from Warner Bros. Television, is based on the memoir by Col. Chris Hadfield, "a seasoned Canadian astronaut who became an Internet star with his videos from the International Space Station." 3 Arts Entertainment's Erwin Stoff and Tom Lassally will also executive produce with Hadfield himself as a consulting producer. SING WITH ME (HBO, New!) - Bruce Eric Kaplan ("Girls") is developing a new half-hour musical comedy at the pay channel about "three generations of women living in Los Angeles." He'll write and executive produce. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ANDY STERN PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Andy Stern has set up a new drama at the Alphabet about Keira Burke, "a young, Boston-area cop, gravely wounded in the line of duty. Six years later, she's returned to the force as a police psychologist and now finds herself embedded in the same precinct she left. She'll bring along her new perspective on cops and solving crime, but she's returning as an outsider, no longer a cop." "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo and Laura Holstein will also executive produce via their Calamity Jane banner for ABC Studios, home to their first-look deal. (Deadline.com)
UNVEILED (NBC, New!) - John J. Sakmar and Kerry Lenhart ("The Glades") have sold a potential drama to the Peacock about "a group of guardian angels who must intervene to help people in a state of crisis." Mark Burnett and Roma Downey are also on board to executive produce the project via their Lightworks Media banner for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
WE HATE PAUL REVERE (AMC/AMC Studios; W: Adrian Wenner & Ethan Sandler; D: Matt Piedmont) - Scott Adsit ("30 Rock") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, which tells the story of brothers Hugh and Ebenezer Moody (Adrian Wenner, Ethan Sandler) and their struggle to find their place and the recognition they believe they deserve as they live in the shadow of history in Colonial Boston. He'll play Sam Adams in the project, which also features Ron Livingston in the title role. (Deadline.com)
