STAMFORD, Conn. - September 23, 2014 - The sixth week of the Premier League season is highlighted by two of the biggest derbies in English soccer, with a Merseyside Derby at 7:45 a.m. ET on Saturday, when Everton and U.S. Men's National Team World Cup goalkeeper Tim Howard face neighbors Liverpool and captain Steven Gerrard on NBCSN and mun2, followed by a North London Derby featuring unbeaten Arsenal, with new forward Danny Welbeck, against rivals Tottenham at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and mun2.
Steve Bower handles play-by-play for Liverpool v. Everton joined by Jim Beglin at Anfield, and NBC Sports Group's Premier League lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls Arsenal v. Tottenham, joined by Lee Dixon at the Emirates. Match coverage begins with Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET Saturday on NBCSN.
Immediately following Liverpool v. Everton, Manchester United and British transfer record signing Angel Di Maria, who already has two goals and two assists in his first three Premier League appearances, host West Ham at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN and mun2. All matches not shown on NBCSN in the Saturday 10 a.m. ET window will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.
Sunday, coverage begins at 10 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN. Then at 11 a.m. ET, West Bromwich Albion, coming off a 1-0 away win against Tottenham last Sunday, host Premier League newcomers Burnley.
A new Premier League Download airs Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with a look at Saturday's Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton, and North London Derby between Tottenham and Arsenal. The show highlights the origins and special characteristics of these matches between local rivals and includes exclusive interviews with current and former players, managers, and pundits on the intensity that exists in these matches.
This Sunday's Goal Zone at 1p.m. ET on NBCSN will be hosted by Rebecca Lowe, joined by former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe. The show will also feature an update from Men in Blazers' Michael Davies and Roger Bennett.
Following Goal Zone on Sunday is NBCSN's live, 60-minute Match of the Day II at 1:30 p.m. ET featuring host Lowe, joined by Earle and Mustoe providing in-depth analysis, plus, post-match interviews and reactions from the day's matches and extended highlights with match commentators.
Wrapping up this week's Premier League action on Monday is Premier League Live at 2 p.m. ET followed by Stoke City hosting Newcastle at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The second episode of THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW featuring Davies and Bennett will air at 10 p.m. ET on Monday.
All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside Earle and Mustoe.
