"E:60's" Fall 2014 Season Premieres on ESPN this Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. ET Featuring Profiles of Chiefs Running Back Jamaal Charles and Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman

ESPN's award-winning news magazine, E:60, makes its Fall 2014 season premiere on ESPN Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. ET. The premiere episode showcases two in-depth NFL features on Kansas City Chiefs Running Back Jamaal Charles and Richard Sherman, Seattle Seahawks outspoken Cornerback.

Two-time All-Pro running back Charles is the heartbeat of the Kansas City offense and one of the top performers in the league. E:60's Jeffri Chadiha helps unveil a different side of Charles, one who holds a heavy heart as he talks in-depth, for the first time, about one of the NFL's most tragic cases of domestic violence. His wife's cousin Kasandra Perkins was murdered by her husband - his teammate - Jovan Belcher, who subsequently killed himself. Chadiha tells the story of an athlete few people know, a kid from a large Texas family who fought through obstacles and pain to become one of the best backs in the NFL. Click HERE for a preview clip of Jamaal Charles profile.

Reserved. Thoughtful. Generous. Words not usually associated with Seattle Seahawks' Richard Sherman. But spend enough time with the All-Pro cornerback, as Kenny Mayne did for this E:60 Profile, and you soon realize that there is much more to Sherman than the brash-talker the world has come to know. For Sherman it's not enough to anchor Seattle's Legion of Boom defense. It is not enough to lead the NFL in interceptions as he did in 2013. It's not enough to earn a Super Bowl ring and a $57 million contract extension. Sherman demands more of himself; he must be a success off the field as well, whether that is being voted to the cover of Madden, spending an evening with President Obama, or promoting education for children from underprivileged backgrounds. In this intimate, behind-the-scenes profile, the Seahawks superstar tells Kenny Mayne how his journey from Compton to Stanford shaped him, how he remains so raw and yet so refined, and why the real Richard Sherman will always be hard to define. Click HERE for a preview clip of Richard Sherman profile.

Tuesday's episode will also include a feature on one of the sports world's most intriguing characters known to most as "Morganna, The Kissing Bandit." Before the internet, and before infamous moments could go viral, the voluptuous blonde became a pop culture icon in the 1970s and 80s by running onto Major League Baseball fields during games to kiss players. In the late 90s, she suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from the spotlight, leaving people to wonder whatever happened to Morganna and why did she choose to run from the fame she craved for so long? Now, after 15 years, Morganna breaks her silence to E:60's Wright Thompson about her former infamy and the troubled life that led her there. Click HERE to see a preview clip of "Morganna: The Kissing Bandit."

For its all new fall line-up, E:60 will feature athlete profiles including Cam Newton, Gerald McCoy, Jason Witten, Max Scherzer, Randy Johnson, and Rob Ryan. In its investigative mode, E:60 will explore the story of Willie Ferrell, who is not only fighting for a title when he steps into the ring. The 2014 U.S. Intercollegiate Boxing Association heavyweight champion is fighting for justice for his brother Jonathan, a former Florida A&M football player who was fatally shot by police in Charlotte, North Carolina last year.

Max Scherzer

Detroit Tigers pitcher Max Scherzer is uncommon. The reigning American League Cy Young Award winner has one brown eye and one blue eye. On the mound, he displays an intensity that has earned him the nickname Mad Max, yet he approaches the art of pitching in an analytical and mathematical way that is unique in the game. Most remarkably, Scherzer has achieved his greatest success on the diamond in the aftermath of the most personal and tragic loss of his life. E:60's Buster Olney chronicles Scherzer's journey of determination and perseverance.

Gerald McCoy

1st team all-pro, and two-time pro bowler Gerald McCoy is among the NFL's elite defensive tackles. McCoy stars at one of the most notoriously physical positions in the league - and he does it his way - by having fun. Unlike many of his peers, McCoy has an outgoing personality, contagious smile and positive approach to life on and off the field. But media and fans have questioned his toughness. Friends and even family have encouraged him to be more aggressive. But through loss personally and professionally his optimistic outlook has endured. E:60's Lisa Salters shares a story of the strength behind the smile of one of the top players in the NFL.

Randy Johnson

The mustache. The mullet. The 100 MPH-heater. In his 26 major league seasons, Randy Johnson left baseball fans with indelible images from his soon-to-be hall of fame career. But as E:60's Chris Connelly learned, 'The Big Unit' is, and always has been, more at home on the other side of the lens.

Jason Witten

As a string of domestic violence scandals rocked pro football, one NFL star looked on from a very personal perspective. Dallas Cowboy's tight end Jason Witten's once lived that nightmare, witnessing the abuse of his loved ones at home. Witten sat down with E:60's Jeremy Schaap to tell his story of pain and perseverance, and his unwavering goal of breaking the cycle of violence.

Rob Ryan

It's rarified air for an NFL team to have a coach who's look equates so strongly to the style of his team's play. In the normally clean cut and buttoned up sidelines of the NFL, Saints defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan has broken the mold. E:60 gets to know the man who has captured the attention of NFL sidelines for the better part of two decades. The only thing more bravado than his physical appearance is his personality. With one of the brightest defensive minds in the game, and a coaching pedigree the likes of which few have traveled, one can't help but wonder, why the "big job" has yet to come calling.

E:60 continues to innovate long-form storytelling, enterprise reporting and production technique.

Highlights can be found here from E:60's first seven years and upcoming season.

E:60's veteran team of reporters contributing to E:60 this fall include Jeremy Schaap, Lisa Salters, Tom Rinaldi, Chris Connelly, Jeffri Chadiha, and Buster Olney. Additional contributors feature Wright Thompson, Kenny Mayne, and Cari Champion. E:60 is is led by Executive Producer Andy Tennant and Coordinating Producer Michael Baltierra.

Since 2007 E:60 has reported from Kenya, Sudan, India, Dominican Republic, Morocco, Mexico, Senegal, Philippines, Netherlands, Haiti, Costa Rica, South Africa, Ukraine, Serbia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Panama, Liberia, and the Middle East.
