OWN BROADENS ITS ONLINE LEARNING OFFERINGS WITH ALL-NEW E-COURSE TAUGHT BY ROB BELL EXCLUSIVELY ON OPRAH.COM

Pre-Registration Now Open for Six-Week Course "Rob Bell: Practical Guide to Finding Joy and Meaning in Everyday Life"

Los Angeles - As part of an ongoing program to expand its online learning platform on Oprah.com, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today an all-new eCourse, taught by renowned pastor and author Rob Bell. Bell was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine in 2011 and a New York Times bestselling author. Bell is currently a featured speaker/tour "trailblazer" on "Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend," Oprah Winfrey's eight-city arena tour that is currently traveling through the U.S. The tour has received wide critical acclaim from the media, including The Grio, which called it "Empowering. Enlightening. Magical." The course, entitled "Rob Bell: Practical Guide to Finding Joy and Meaning in Everyday Life," is available exclusively on Oprah.com and now open for pre-registration.

Through humor, big ideas and practical everyday activities, this six-week eCourse will take students on a journey to joy and meaning in their everyday lives, teaching them how to shift perspectives, helping them understand themselves as spiritual beings and re-define what is truly important to them. Bell will teach students on how they can experience life as a gift and will guide them to mastery of a new, profound and rewarding life path. Course topics include "Unwrapping the Gift of Your Life," "Embracing Your Whole Self," "Uncovering the Story Behind Your Story," "Overcoming FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)," "It is Better to Give and Receive" and "Becoming a Student of Life."

The six-week course is offered on demand and will be available starting November 2, 2014, but pre-registration is currently open. Participants will be able to stream all of Bell's teaching videos and access the online course materials at anytime. The price for the course is $39.99.

Rob Bell's eCourse joins several other subscription learning offerings on Oprah.com including courses taught by professor and TED speaker Brenè Brown, spiritual life coach and television host Iyanla Vanzant, which launches on October 26, and several meditation experiences featuring Deepak Chopra. Hundreds of thousands of students from all over the world have purchased these courses on Oprah.com over the last two years.
