ELECTION NIGHT COVERAGE BEGINS ON THE "CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY" (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) LEADING UP TO CBS NEWS' PRIMETIME COVERAGE

CBS News will provide a full day of division-wide original reporting across all platforms for the 2014 midterm elections on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

CBS EVENING NEWS Anchor and Managing Editor Scott Pelley and CBS THIS MORNING Co-Host Norah O'Donnell will lead the coverage, and will be joined by:

CBS News will offer the most midterm election coverage on any broadcast morning news program on CBS THIS MORNING (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT), and will continue to report throughout the day on CBSNews.com and CBS Radio News.

The election night team begins its reporting on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30-7:00 PM, ET), leading to updates throughout primetime as polls close at 7:00 PM, ET/PT; 8:00 PM, ET/PT; and 9:00 PM, ET/PT.

Following these updates on the CBS Television Network will be a special one-hour broadcast at 10:00 PM, ET/PT.

As the coverage unfolds, CBS News will use the Twitter account @CBSPolitics to communicate all election projections and characterizations. CBS News will use Twitter and other social media to introduce a new level of transparency into all CBS News political reporting, revealing internal guidance on competitive races as soon as the information is reportable.

CBSNews.com will live-stream the Network's coverage and feature up-to-the minute election results and original reporting on national and statewide races throughout the night. CBSNews.com will provide a variety of tools to help users navigate the voting results, including interactive maps and exit poll data as it becomes available. Additionally, CBSNews.com will feature original reports from CBS News correspondents in the field.

CBS Radio News will provide extensive reporting throughout the day, including six hours of anchored coverage and special reports on the CBS Radio News Stream (bit.ly/crnstream) from 7:00 PM-1:00 AM, ET. CBS Radio News will provide special reports three times per hour from 7:20 PM-12:50 AM, ET, in addition to long-form special reports from 10:00 PM-12:00 AM, ET. National Correspondent Dan Raviv will anchor the coverage with a team of pollsters, political experts and correspondents reporting from the key battleground states.
