Disson Skating and ABC Glide Into the Holiday Season with the Colgate Skating Series

Figure Skating Specials to Feature Olympic Medalists and World-Renowned Skaters, Including Meryl Davis & Charlie White, Brian Boitano and Nancy Kerrigan

Olympic Champion and "Dancing with the Stars" Winner Kristi Yamaguchi and Three-Time U.S. National Champion Michael Weiss to Host with Musicians Amy Grant, Lou Gramm and Paul Rodgers Performing

Disson Skating returns to the ice for its 25th year with the upcoming Colgate Skating Series airing exclusively on ABC. Each two-hour special in this milestone year will feature world-renowned Olympic figure skating champions and musicians, with select shows featuring the skaters' families, Olympic gymnasts and dancing professionals. As previously announced, the Colgate Skating Series marks the first of a multi-year agreement between Disson Skating, a leader in family entertainment programming, and ABC. This also marks the return of figure skating to ABC, which has a long and well-received history in the sport. The details of the first two specials were unveiled today.

The Musselman's Apple Sauce Family Skating Tribute, a family-themed show featuring skaters performing alongside their talented children, will premiere on Sunday, November 23rd at 4:00 - 6:00PM ET / 2:00 - 4:00PM PT, in addition to an encore presentation airing on Sunday, December 7th during the same time frame. Skaters taking the ice at Penn State's Pegula Ice Arena include: Nancy Kerrigan, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Ilia Kulik, Kurt Browning, Paul Wylie, Linda Fratianne, Todd Eldredge, Michael Weiss, Silvia Fontana, John Zimmerman and Sinead & John Kerr. These champions will skate to a live musical performance from six-time Grammy Award-winning musical artist, Amy Grant.

The Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice special, featuring festive holiday ice skating routines with a cast of Olympic, World and National champion skaters, will have its first ABC airing on Sunday, November 30th at 4:00 - 6:00PM ET / 2:00 - 4:00PM PT, with an encore presentation on Sunday, December 14th during the same time frame. The Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena will host skaters: Meryl Davis, Charlie White, Evan Lysacek, Brian Boitano, Ilia Kulik, Kimmie Meissner, Michael Weiss, Alissa Czisny, Ryan Bradley, Elena Leonova and Andrei Khvalko. Famed rock stars Lou Gramm, the "Voice of Foreigner," and Paul Rodgers of Bad Company will sing holiday classics and memorable hits.

Stephen Disson and Disson Skating, LLC has owned and produced family entertainment skating specials featuring celebrity guest performing artists since 1989. Disson has partnered on ice skating specials with some of the biggest names in the sport, including Olympic champions Brian Boitano, Scott Hamilton and Kristi Yamaguchi and World champion Kurt Browning. Disson's specials have featured other Olympic champions, including Peggy Fleming, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Dorothy Hamill, Sarah Hughes, Ilia Kulik, Tara Lapinski, Evan Lysacek and recent Olympic champion ice dance team Meryl Davis and Charlie White.
