GSN'S "IDIOTEST" SETTLES THE ONGOING ELECTION NIGHT DEBATE AS DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS BATTLE IT OUT TO DETERMINE WHO IS SMARTER
Special Political Episode Hosted by Comedian Ben Gleib
Airs Tuesday, November 4th at 9 pm ET/PT
Oct. 30, 2014, SANTA MONICA, Calif. - The political race between Democrats and Republicans shifts from the ballot box to the touchscreen when a team of devoted Democrats goes head-to-head against a pair of resolute Republicans on a political-themed episode of GSN's hit series IDIOTEST, hosted by comedian Ben Gleib and airing Tuesday, November 4 at 9 pm ET/PT.
Democrat Andy Neuenschwander, a 29-year-old from Ann Arbor, MI who works in web content, joins forces with his friend and fellow University of Michigan alum David Abed, a 30-year-old social media manager originally from Grand Ledge, MI. They take on Republican sisters from La Cañada, CA, Eunice Lee, a 25-year-old student and Heidi Cheung, a stay-at-home mom. Which team will emerge victorious and leave their political rivals feeling like idiots? No matter what happens at the polls on Election Night, one party will definitely claim IDIOTEST bragging rights.
IDIOTEST, based on the highly popular app game, gives two pairs of contestants the opportunity to face off in several rounds of visual brain teasers that look deceptively simple, but whose answers actually require a keen eye, quick mind and heightened sense of logic. Every question involves a fun, colorful and often whimsical scene that tests observation and attention to detail as much it tests general knowledge. Contestants play the game on a giant touch screen in the center of the set, trying to win money...or at least not look stupid.
Recently picked up for a 65-episode second season, IDIOTEST is produced by Little Wooden Boat Productions, Inc. Executive producers are Mark Cronin of Little Wooden Boat Productions, Adam Rosenblatt, Jamie Rosenblatt and Christian Horner of H2R Productions; Ryan Devlin and Shawn Greenson of He Shoots, He Scores Productions, and Larry Barron and Ryan Curtis. Ben Gleib serves as a producer on the series.
