GSN TO DEBUT TWO-HOUR GAME SHOW EVENT "THE LINE" ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23

Hosts Jeff Davis and Candace Bailey Offer Hundreds of Participants the Opportunity to Win Cash and Prizes

November 10, 2014, SANTA MONICA, Calif. - As an alternative to TV's familiar December diet of holiday-themed specials and repeats, Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, will debut an original two-hour traveling game show event, THE LINE, produced by High Noon Entertainment, on Tuesday, December 23 at 9pm ET/PT.

Shot on location in Nashville, TN, THE LINE is a unique game show offering everyday people the chance to win cash and prizes for doing something that often can be stress-inducing, especially during the holidays: standing in line! Though the ultimate goal is to get to the "Trivia Vault" at the front of the line, where each contestant attempts to win a jackpot by answering eight true or false questions, many will have an opportunity to play and win just by standing in line. The jackpot grows with each contestant who fails to answer his or her eight questions correctly while in the "Trivia Vault" - so being at the end of the line could have a big payout! Unlike many game shows where only a few people are chosen to play, everyone who shows up in THE LINE gets an opportunity to win.

Co-hosts Jeff Davis and Candace Bailey help keep THE LINE lively and moving. Davis is best known for frequent guest appearances on the long-running "Whose Line is it Anyway?" and appearances on "The Norm Show," "The Drew Carey Show" and "The Sarah Silverman Show," among others. Bailey, formerly the co-host of G4's "Attack of the Show," was most recently a panelist/judge on "The Next Geek Thing."

THE LINE is produced by High Noon Entertainment for GSN. Executive producers are Jim Berger, Scott Feeley and Michael Dietz.
