IFC BRINGS MORE LAUGHS ONLINE WITH IFC COMEDY CRIB

IFC.com Teams Up With AboveAverage & UCB Comedy For New Comedy Destination

- Launches TODAY -

NEW YORK, NY - November 11, 2014 - For those who can't get enough of IFC's offbeat comic sensibility, the brand is branching out today on IFC.com with the IFC Comedy Crib, a new online home for quick hits of smart, funny, short-form comedy. Visitors will be able to binge on shows made by some of the network's favorite comedians and acquired series through partnerships with AboveAverage and UCB Comedy. Check out the IFC Comedy Crib here: www.ifc.com/comedy-crib

The following web series launch today: ClickBait Overload, Laurie, John and Geoff are Married and Comedy Drop. All six episodes of Laurie are available now; additional episodes and new series will rollout weekly.

· ClickBait Overload: Produced by UCB, ClickBait Overload offers viewers an inside glimpse of comedy's creative process by gathering UCB comedians and challenging them to take two random topics, marry them together and then create, write and film a killer sketch video. Two catches: they have to incorporate unexpected props and they only have eight hours to pull it off. http://www.ifc.com/comedy-crib/videos/clickbait-overload-tea-party-family-sitcoms-featuring-a-baby

· Laurie: Starring Natasha Vaynblat and also produced by UCB, Laurie is a workplace comedy about a wildly imaginative assistant who goes to elaborate lengths to avoid doing anything productive in the office. http://www.ifc.com/comedy-crib/videos/laurie-the-light-bulb

· John and Geoff are Married: Created by comedians John Murray and Geoff Garlock, starring as two friends whose social lives change now that they are happily married (not to each other) with kids. They try to interpret potential flirting, boast about sexual conquests and fight to keep their sacred friendship in tact. http://www.ifc.com/comedy-crib/videos/john-and-geoff-are-married-war-stories

· Comedy Drop: An IFC web series where comedians spring impromptu stand-up routines on unsuspecting audiences (some not even human) in unexpected locations such as barbershops, parks and costume shops - giving viewers a front row seat to the awkward places comedians will go for a laugh. http://www.ifc.com/comedy-crib/videos/comedy-drop-mehran-khaghani

Rolling out in 2015 will be three new web series from AboveAverage, more new UCB Comedy series and shows made by IFC's favorite comedians and sketch groups.
