"THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON" HONORED WITH 30 ROCK MARQUEE

Prominent 6th Avenue Marquee Is First at NBC's Corporate Headquarters

NEW YORK - Nov. 25, 2014 - As another example of the positive cultural impact of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" relocating to New York, a one-of-a-kind marquee has been created and unveiled on the 6thAvenue side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

This historic tribute to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is the first marquee at 30 Rock located on the 6thAvenue building entrance.

"Every time I walk in the building and see that marquee, it will remind me of the legacy of 'The Tonight Show' and how honored I am to be a part of its incredible history," said Fallon.

"The new marquee is a bold reminder that 'The Tonight Show' is back in New York City from historic 30 Rockefeller Plaza," said John Wallace, President, NBCUniversal Operations and Technical Services. "Showcasing our iconic NBCUniversal programs and talent, plus improving the fan experience, are key elements of our comprehensive building redesign project."

The placement of "The Tonight Show" marquee is part of the previously announced plan for extensive upgrades and enhancements to historic 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Ongoing renovation and restoration projects, including the Grand Stair and Mezzanine Rotunda, will be completed in the coming months.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" remains the #1 late-night talk show in America, averaging through the opening eight weeks of the new TV season a 1.14 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall. The 1.14 in 18-49 nearly matches the combined ratings of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.65/3) and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (0.51/2). Versus "Tonight's" average of one year ago, the show is up this season by +31% in 18-49 rating (with a 1.14 vs. a 0.87) and +7% in total viewers (3.9 million vs. 3.7 million).

From Universal Television and Broadway Video, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Josh Lieb. Gavin Purcell produces. "The Tonight Show" tapes before a live studio audience.
