"GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN" COMING TO FOX SPORTS 1

FOXSports.com NO FILTER Host Brings Irreverent Style and Biting Wit To Television on Sunday Nights Beginning March 15

New York - Katie Nolan, host of NO FILTER on FOXSports.com and breakout star of former FOX Sports 1 show CROWD GOES WILD, returns to television with a new weekly show, GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN, premiering Sunday, March 15 (9:30-10:00 PM ET). The same-day taped show airs Sunday nights on FOX Sports 1, following the network's Major League Soccer Match of the Week.

GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN follows in the footsteps of Nolan's popular online series NO FILTER, which presents topical sports stories with a megabyte of wit, a dash of sarcasm and sharp dose of comedy. GARBAGE TIME, with its loose, intimate format, also features a rotating group of guest commentators, celebrity guests and field segments, where Nolan ventures outside her tiny studio to take a closer look at the rough-around-the-edges qualities that make sports so special.

"I'm very excited to be making the move from internet to television," Nolan said. "Because you know what they say: the internet is a dying medium. But really, we've been working on this for months, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with everyone."

"We are thrilled to have Katie back on FOX Sports 1," said Pete Vlastelica, Executive Vice President, Digital, FOX Sports. "She is completely unique unlike anyone else in the sports media landscape, and I'm really excited that a new audience is about to discover what her followers online already know very well. Katie's unfiltered perspectives on the biggest issues in sports, her knack for being hilarious, and her multiplatform appeal make her a great addition to our television lineup."

"Katie Nolan is a pure and unique talent - the folks at FOX Sports recognized that a couple of years ago and have backed our creative vision for her 1000% ever since," offered Embassy Row Productions' Michael Davies, Executive Producer of GARBAGE TIME. "In a few years, we'll all be saying we knew her when."

A New England native and die-hard Boston sports fan, Nolan, a former bartender, joined FOX Sports in August 2013 as a cast member on FOX Sports 1's CROWD GOES WILD. Before joining FOX Sports, she worked with Guyism.com, part of FOX Sports' Yardbarker Network, as the only female voice on the popular male-oriented website, producing and hosting her popular YouTube show "Guyism Speed Round." Nolan graduated from Hofstra with a degree in public relations.

GARBAGE TIME is produced by Embassy Row Productions in New York City.
